Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Pawsicle mobile app and website (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using Pawsicle, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Pawsicle helps people manage pet profiles, browse adoption listings, explore mating matches, find clinics and book visits, and chat with other users. Some features (including Paw Mart and Paw Tracker) may be labeled coming soon and are not part of the Service until we enable them.

We may change, pause, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country (and at least 13). Notify us at support@pawsicle.app if you think your account was used without permission.

4. Your content and listings

You keep ownership of photos, listings, messages, and other content you submit. You grant Pawsicle a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate the Service (for example showing a listing to other users).

You must have the right to post what you upload. Do not post unlawful, misleading, abusive, or infringing content. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Adoption, matches, and transfers

Pawsicle is a venue for users to connect. We are not a party to adoption, mating, sale, or ownership arrangements between users. We do not guarantee that a pet, listing, or other user is as described, healthy, or available. You must follow applicable animal-welfare and local laws. Pawrentship-transfer tools in the app record a request between users; they do not replace any legal paperwork your jurisdiction may require.

6. Health features

Clinic listings, booking, and health records are for convenience only. They are not veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. In an emergency, contact a licensed veterinarian or local emergency service. We are not responsible for clinic availability, quality of care, or outcomes.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service
• Impersonate others or misrepresent pets or listings
• Harass users or send spam through chat
• Upload malware or attempt to access other accounts or our systems

8. Disclaimer and liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pawsicle disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for disputes between users, lost pets, or veterinary outcomes. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater.

Some places do not allow certain limitations. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum allowed by law.

9. Termination

You may stop using Pawsicle and delete your account in the app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we shut down the Service. Provisions that should survive (including disclaimers and liability limits) remain in effect.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.
